Biography
Pamela Morgenstern spent her early childhood
in Portland, Maine. As a girl, she moved with her
family to Southern California during its 1960s
golden era. After many years of living in
Santa Monica, California, she relocated with her husband
Fred to Cramerton, North Carolina at the beginning of 2011.
Pam got her start in
the industry laying out the title sequences
shown at the beginning and end of movies and
television episodes. This was in the
pre-digital age, when title sequences were
hand-lettered and then photographed one frame
at a time.
Shortly thereafter,
Pam began a long period of film and television
merchandise development. At Marvel
Entertainment, Tokyo Movie Shimsha (TMS), Fox
and Disney, she managed the branding and
development of hundreds of apparel items,
books, toys, and fine art animation pieces, as
well as developing the style guides used by
licensees worldwide.
Simultaneously, Pam
has pursued her love for creating her own art
in acrylics, silkscreen, and mixed media.
Her commercial collections now include dozens
of unique items as well as limited-edition
pieces.
These days, Pamela
works in a variety of commercial art fields
including producing her own artwork, corporate
fine art product development, fine art gallery
merchandising and layout consultation,
digital page layout, and home decor.
